I want to major in architecture. Can i take my gen ed courses in a school that doesnt have architecture courses?

Yes you can. However, you should be in a college prep program in high school. Make sure you have a strong foundation in your communication skills (written and oral), higher level maths, physics, computer literacy, free hand drawing, and computer graphics if possible. While most programs at The Bachelor's level are approximately four years, the architecture program is a five year program. In addition, to do more meaningful work within this field, most individuals pursue a master's degree which would take an additional two to three years.
