I was at binary's fortress but then I went to the haunted house a mini quest after I left the haunted house I was brought back to astro island but on the ground my spaceship is in space but I'm not?

Yes, it can. Call of the Haunted is not an Equip Card, so it is not automatically destroyed if it loses its target. Call of the Haunted will only destroy itself if the monster it brought back is 'destroyed'. However if the monster is removed from play, tributed, sent, or flipped face-down, then Call of the Haunted will lose it as a target, but remain on the field, uselessly.

The Haunted House is a useful item, not just a game. Entering and then leaving the Haunted House game brings you to the Island map, not where you came from. If you use it while in space on Astro Knights, your spaceship parks on top of the castle in Arturus. To escape nasty glitches, at least where the item bag can be reached, use the Haunted House card, which lets you escape and re-enter the island from the blimp. You will then have to work your way back to the point at which you left, sometimes replaying parts of the quest.

You can only come and go using the Blimp at Fort Ridley. However, you can leave from anywhere on Poptropica using the Haunted House card from the Poptropica store. When you enter and exit the Haunted House, you return to the Poptropica map. If you leave Astro Knights island, your spaceship parks on top of the castle. If you leave Skullduggery Island, you return to find the ship docked at Fort Ridley.
