It depends on your height and how wide you are. I weight 350, but I'm 5'11. I have pretty big hips too. I was deathly afraid of flying this summer for this reason, but it actually was fine. It was a little tight on the flight there, but the flight back had more room. If you can tell at all, try to get a smaller plane. The smaller the plane, the larger the seats (like only 2 seats on either side of the aisle). You can put the arm rest up as well. I had a friend sitting next to me so it wasn't a big deal. If you are flying alone and the person next to you doesn't like it, tough. They also have seat belt extensions if you need them. I didn't need one, but they do have them. Hope this helps.
I have heard the sooner you buy the tickets in advance the cheaper your can get the tickets. But I do know of a cheap website to buy airline tickets online at: www.orbitz.com.

That depends on what airline you live next too or how far you are willing to travel to get to an airport. You can try www.allegiantair.com, they usually have cheap tickets.
No they are separate companies.
There are many sites selling competitively priced airline tickets. I've gotten mine from Orbitz.com and Priceline.com. Don't forget to check with the airline directly. They frequently have inexpensive tickets if you are flexible on your travel dates.
