There are several websites, but be careful because most of them are rip-offs. They'll tell you how good you are (to everyone, no matter whether they are good or not), and then they'll ask you to buy a book with your poetry in it, or attend a conference (at your expense) to receive a reward, or whatever.
I would look into poetry magazines, which sometimes have online sites... but check out a bookstore first and see what magazines they have, so they don't draw you into some scam site... there are a LOT of them in the poetry area, unfortunately.
I would also check out this site: http://poets.org/ ... which is a good site, non-scam. They are the ones who run most of the Poetry month (April) activities, and they sometimes have ads on their site for legitimate poetry contests. ... A reading fee is fairly normal for contests like this. Not a great thing, but there is so much bad poetry floating around (some of it *because* of the encouragement of horrid poetry scam sites), that they put in the fee to discourage frivolous entries.
If you think your poem might make good lyrics to a song, there is a great songwriters website out there called: www.clownbasket.com. You upload your poem and maybe a songwriter puts it to music. very cool. Someone on wiki told me about it today.
