A positive theory is a theory that attempts to explain how the world is while a normative theory attempts to explain how the world should be. The theories are used together in different social science fields, including economics.
Everybody appears to have different theories on that subject
There are many religions in the world today, and during ancient times. Most people identify with a religion, or a mix of several religions.
He set out geometry in a axiomatic way. He put forward eight axioms which , to him, were self-evident statements and then started to prove theorems and propositions from these axioms using logic. It was not until many centuries later that mathematicians questioned the self-evident truth of his parallel postulate and developed non-Euclidean geometries. However, his approach to systematic development of mathematics using logic and a small number of axioms is now a fundamental aspect of mathematical theories.

Theories are changed constantly. In fact, many known theories today are only theories from that of someone else only with an improvement. Many scientific theories for example are developed that way. Take this for example, many thought the world was flat, that theory developed (changed) to the fact that the world is round instead of flat. Current theories that are changing daily-- "How was the universe formed?" "How did life begin"? "Was there ever life on Mars"? "What is all that DNA for?" "How do we make more efficient solar cells?" "What will happen with global warming, and how can we modify it?"
