Not sure what your're asking but if it's a question about the location of the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve on a Mustang it's on the front of the throttle body which is on top of the intake manifold. See pictures at Autoclinix.com; select "IAC Replacemnet | Mustang".
Speed Sensor The sensor is located on the rear axle housing.
You have an idle air control valve and you also have a throttle position sensor. They are both located and the throttle body.

do you mean intake air temp sensor, or iac idle air control?
On the 4.0 L - OHV engine , the DPFE sensor is on the drivers side of the engine , mounted below the idle air control valve

Idle air control valve sensor is located around the carburetor .
The idle speed is read by the Engine Control Module(computer) and adjusted as necessary by use of the idle air control in conjunction with the throttle position sensor. There is no separate idle sensor as such.
the Idle air control valve is adjustable I was just reading about this in a haynes repair manual but also check for any other vacuum leaks old rubber hoses are bad to rot and let extra air flow into the intake.Answerthrottle position sensor also
