The advantage of being multicellular is that different parts of the animal can specialize: e.g., animals have sensory organs and dedicated digestive systems. The advantage of independent movement is in not being tied to one spot or at the mercy of the climate, the way plants are.
Well there is really no answer for that but all I can say is that God created everything and he created them just how he wanted. I don't know the exact definition of what an animal is, but I know that they belong to one of the five Kingdoms and are then classified into more categories, such as: mammals, reptiles, equines, marsupils, primates etc. that are then re-categorized many times.
well there animals but some animals live underwater and some that are mammals and some animals are like humans like dogs because they have special needs and also dogs may not eat like humans but they eat to and just in case you did not know about special needs special needs mean like heart attacks strokes anything that can make sick or even pass out
