If helium is lighter than air, then does it eventually float to the top of the atmosphere?

Is the outermost part of the atmosphere all of the helium that floated to the top, or does it escape into outer space at some point? Does something cause it to come back down? Where does the helium ultimately go?

What natural things float in the air only using air?

A gas that is lighter than the gas your talking about. For example, Helium would float on Oxygen because it is lighter, and hydrogen would float on helium because it's lighter than that.

Why do helium balloons fail to float?

Actually, they do float. They are lighter than air, so they are supposed to float.

What makes balloons float when they are full of air but not float when they are deflated?

When balloons float they have helium in it. Helium is not air, but a gas. It's lighter than air, which makes it float.

Will warming helium balloons make them float?

Helium is lighter than air. so balloons filled with helium will float in air. warming will make them float or rise up faster.

Why does helium float?

Helium molecules are lighter than most air molecules in the atmosphere (mostly nitrogen and oxygen) therefore they are prone to rise while heavier molecules move downward.

Do they still use helium in blimps?

Yes they do, as helium is lighter than air and blimps will float.
