God doesn't have a color. And...surprise! Neither do we. When God created Adam and Eve, they were able to see God...(see Genesis 2). But later, when they sinned, God put skin around them. So Adam and Eve weren't created with skin, they were creatures just like God...who doesn't have skin, so He has no color.
Skin was a covering because they saw that they were "naked". God fixed that...and separated them from Himself because they sinned. Skin can be burned, sunburned, or be white...but it's still skin, a covering for this body. WE are no color at all, our skin is black, white, pink, yellow, or brown. So remember that INSIDE we are all the same, it's just the skin that is colored.
Yes, here is a reference for it. "God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." - Genesis 1:27
God said "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." "…God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them" (Genesis Ch 1)
Ludwig Feuerbach (1804-1872) wrote it in "Essence of Christianity: God the Image of Man. Man's Dependence upon Nature the Last and Only Source of Religion" (1841)""It is not as in the Bible, that God created man in his own image. But, on the contrary, man created God in his own image."The statement plays on a well-known passage from the bible. 'God created man in his own image' Gen. 1:27
from God, God created man in his own image
Genesis 1:27 So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created.
His appearance is dictated by what you need. _______________ According to Genesis, God created man in his own image. According to Feuerbach, Man created god in his own image. Either way you look at it, there's nipples aplenty
Gen:1:27: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Because God made both male and female. =)So God created man in His image, In the image of God, He created them. Male and female, He created them. Genesis 1:27
He is created in God's image (Genesis ch.5).
We humans are made in God's image. Genesis 1:27 says, "And God proceeded to create the man in his image, in God's image he created him, male and female he created them." Being made in God's image does not mean that we were made to look like him because he is a spirit person, John 4:24 says, " God is a spirit." When he created us in his image it means that he created us with his qualities, and the ability to use them.
We can understand about God the Mother through the Bible. Let us study through the Bible to discover the existence of our God the Mother. Gen. 1:26-27 『Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness..." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.』 The above verse states that God has two images-a male image and a female image. Until now, we have only known and called upon the male image of God: "Father." Then how should we call upon the female image of God? Logically, we should refer to God's female image as "Mother." This is why God had said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness."
God created man in his own image, then out of Adams rib he made women called Eve.
