If Greenbow Alabama were real where would it be located in the state?

The background shots of "Greenbow, Alabama" were shot in Varnville, SC. However, these shots bear a surprising resemblance to two locations that I have seen in Alabama.
One of these is Carbon Hill, Alabama, the recent scene of horrific tornado destruction. The picturesque scenery and the ubiquitous rail tracks are common features of the Alabama countryside, most of which run through the center of these towns.
Another candidate is Thorsby, Alabama. This small community is situated to the south of Birmingham and once again has the rail tracks going through the center of the town.
Should you desire a larger community, there is the city of Bessemer, Alabama. It too has the tracks situated very near the center of the town and was once a major steel manufacturing city.
Living in the south (Dixie) and hearing everyday the way how the English language is spoke around here, I have no doubts that Forrest is talking about Greenville AL.
Is very common to hear the end "ville" as "bow".
I live close to Greenville TN and the people reefer to that town as "Grenbow" also Louisville is named "Loubow" as an example.
Hope this will help, because it cost to me, to move to "Dixie" to realize this.
After a few months, everything became clear to me.
