His parents come back in spirit form twice. Once in the Goblet of Fire, one in Deathly Hallows part 2.
In the Goblet of Fire his parents come to help him hold Voldemort so he can escape, near the end when he and Cedric find out the cup is a port key.
In Deathly hallows part 2 his parents appear when he is going to present himself to Voldemort to die. He uses the resurrection stone, which is hidden inside the first golden snitch he caught, to view them, Sirius and Remus. He asks them briefly what it is like to die, and they have a short conversation.
The parents are not alive again. Harry uses to the resurrection stone to bring back his parents in a ghost-like form. They are separate from him 'by a veil' and cannot live life on earth.
Answer: Yes. Harry uses the Resurrection Stone to bring back James, Lily, Sirius, and Remus for a few minutes. Answer: Not really. It is more like Harry having contact with them in the spirit world (Harry is the only one that can see them).
Nobody can come back to life really. We see a few characters again but none of them are alive. Dumbledore talks to Harry as does his parents, Sirius and Remus.
No, if you remember they were niether in flesh or ghosts, because they had been brought back to life but didn't really belong alive.
Voldemort never actually took Harry's parents; he killed them. so no. he didn't "give them back"
He was a student at Hogwarts, also the Youngest seeker in the game of Quiddich and eventually the undoing of Voldermorts attempt to come back to life.
No, they do make a reappearance of sorts, but they are not resurrected.
No, they have been dead since the first book.
Harry Potter had the chance to either die, or go back and finish the fight. He chose to go back.
Nobody can come back to life if they die, not even in Harry Potter. His parents, Sirius and Remus sort of come back but they aren't fully alive.
It's a little complicated as Harry had the Reserection stone before he "died" and he brought back Lily, James, Sirius, and Lupin. They didn't actually come back to life and were alive again, they came back as lively ghosts to talk to Harry.
Well if you think back to the 4th movie, Goblet of Fire. Voldermort took Harry's blood and used it to give himself a body. So Lily Potters protection was in both Harry's and Voldermorts veins. Voldermort had also made harry become a horcrux and so when voldermort killed harry, he killed the horcrux which kind of became a shield to harry so the horcrux was destroyed but harry wasn't. Hope this helps
