This is a difficult question because Britain remains a world power and Japan no longer is. The armed forces of Japan are now equipped and structured only for the defense of Japan. Ergo, any war fought would require the British to carry the war to Japan. Also, Britain is a nuclear power, and it can always play the nuclear card if necessary, but such a scenario is unlikely. Unless the Brits used nuclear weapons, my money would be on the Japanese. The last time these countries fought was in World War 2, and the Japanese ability to wage war was severely underestimated by the British and other Allies, to painful effect. Only Russia, having lost a war to Japan early in the 20th Century, did not underestimate Japanese military ability in World War 2.

right now... Still Japan. Pakistan they have nukes :)
That Japan would win.
The most feared aspect of war in the pacific was that Japan would win!
Japan was defeated in World War II.
Without answering the unasked question of why Japan attacked the US in the first place, cementing its involvement in the war, the simple response would be "Japan wanted to win the war in order to be victorious". Why would anybody wish to lose? Once Japan was at war with the Allied forces, it was a matter of honour and duty to vanquish the enemy, or to die in the effort- surrender was not permissable.
Japan surrendered and the allies win the war.
Asia is not unified at all and Russia is in Asia.
Yes. They went to war with the Hurons and the Algonquin Indians. The Iroquois would win most of the wars.
No, Japan won.
Adolf Hitler realized Germany couldn't win World War 2 when the allied powers dropped an atomic bomb in Japan, so as a result Hitler and his wife went to a bunker and killed themselves.
