Because you can't answer a question that has never been asked. Ideally, there there should only be two kinds of questions on WikiAnswers - those that have been answered, and those that will be answered. When a contributor comes across a question that hasn't been answered, and they know (or think they know) the answer, they will put it in. That is how the collection of questions and answers grows.

If you mean that no one is answering your question, it is most likely because they do not know the answer, or they cannot understand what you are trying to ask. If you mean why your question is not getting posted to WikiAnswers, it is probably because you tried to post a question during site maintenance. It could also be due to your internet connection speed, and if you exited out of your browser too quickly.

No, you don't. Therefore, you need to check your post often to know if someone posted on it.

There are actually a lot of answers posted onto this site. As of August 17, 2013 there are 19,619,835 answers posted on WikiAnswers. Perhaps you wrote an answer and did not see it posted; or someone may have changed your answer. WikiAnswers is a volunteer-run site, and all of us who answer the questions do our part to keep the site growing. Please continue to participate by giving accurate answers to the questions you know something about.

Why when you asked a question two times was it never posted?
First, your question might just have been moved to another Category or its wording might have been changed. For example, this question was moved to the "Questions About WikiAnswers Website" Category and changed from "Why when you asked a question 2 times it was never posted?" to "Why when you asked a question two times was it never posted?" Second, but less commonly, your question might have been deleted. This is very unusual. It's generally only done in cases of spam or vandalism, or when the same question has been asked many times.
