How is the car driven: easy acceleration & nice slow stops or hard acceleration and hard breaking? Your driving habits are most likely what is causing your bad gas mileage. Don't drive the thing like a race car and expect to get good gas mileage. I had a V6 Accord and I got 27 MPG with it.
