the window motor could be busted or a fuse could have blown.
If it is electric windows it is the motor which needs replacing or it could be the regulator
It could be your window regulator.
If your windows are electric you may have a bad motor in the driver's side or the window could be off track, if they're not then you may just have a bad gear or it could be off track
I had a similar problem with a Toyota Corolla. Could be worth a shot There may be a window lock button (usually near the drivers electric window controls). That causes the controls from all, except the driver's, to be unresponsive.
The two way switch in your console is dirty. Remove it, disassemble, clean the contacts and reinstall.
could be that also could be the window moter or just wiring
If the 2002 Beetle window is crooked, then the problem could be that the window track is loose or damaged. If the electric system wont move the window up or down, check the fuse and window relay for a problem.
It could be that the window motor has stopped working.
Check to see if your are getting powr and ground to motor - if so motor is bad and needs replacing If not try to find problem--could be switch or wiring to same
There could be corrosion in the switch, or the electrical circuit may have failed in the wiring somewhere. The motor could be bad, or there could be something mechanical blocking the window.
check the following; fuses, relays, regulator, window motor, off track, window switch. did not specify if it was manual or electric.
you need either a switch or regulator
