The effects would depend on the size of the asteroid, but even if the asteroid was the size of a small house the effects would be devastating. First of all those who live in the area of impact would die in instant destruction. if the asteroid hit water huge tidal waves would be created flooding most of the world, the waves could be up to 3 miles tall maby even taller depending on the size of the asteroid. the sun would also be blackend out because dust would be spewn up into the atmosphere which would stop heat from reaching the planet causeing global cooling
It would depend on the size of the asteroid.
When were in it's way.
No telling. It could hit anywhere.
An asteroid would hit earth first
If the asteroid is more than about 5 miles in diameter, the devastation would be worldwide. There would be nothing that anyone could do.
Yes. An asteroid cans strike anywhere on Earth. The chances of any given location being hit are extremely low.
YES IT HAS YES IT HAS YES IT HAS YES IT HAS
No. The moon is large enough that even a collision with the solar system's largest asteroid would not destroy it.
A black hole would eventually swallow up the entire Earth. An asteroid would provoke great catastrophes - depending, of course, on the mass of the asteroid.
yes but that would add energy to the moon's orbit
a) Don't worry! The world won't end! b) It is possible that an asteroid will hit the Earth, but it isn't very likely that it would actually cause much devastation. I, myself, wouldn't really fret about it. If the world does end, then you'd die happy. If not, (and it most probably isn't) then everything is fine. The world has been predicted to end many time before this and it hasn't ever happened. And even if an asteroid did hit the Earth, only one tiny part of the world will be affected. Don't worry!
no it was not an asteroid that hit the earth, it was kevins big mouth
