Oxygen is included in the reaction. Without oxygen, it would not burn. That's why you cant have an open flame underwater.

^^^^^

this dudes a idiot, theres oxygen in the water

Why would a candle use too much air?

It burns the oxygen. r

How does oxygen Affect how fast a candle will burn?

when a candle burns, the wax is reacting with oxygen in the air to give out heat and light. If you give the candle more oxygen then it will burn brighter, but it will burn out more quickly. It all depends whether the candle has a high or low concentration of oxygen. The main reason why the candle burns brighter is because there is a better chance that the oxygen will bump into the wax on the wick. when a candle burns, the wax is reacting with oxygen in the air to give out heat and light. Why do candles need oxygen?

YES. The available amount of oxygen in air regulates the candles burn. The oxygen burns with the paraffin wax. Both are consumed. A mix of more oxygen will burn faster and hotter. Rapid oxydation is dangerous.

Burning candle what is actually burning?

Vapours of the candle wax, which contain carbon and hydrogen, react with oxygen in the air to create carbon dioxide and water. Often, the combustion is incomplete and small amounts of carbon monoxide as well as carbon (soot) are released.

Does magnesium react to oxeygen?

Yes. When magnesium burns in air, it combines with oxygen in the air to form magnesium oxide, MgO.

When the candle burns what falls?

Wax is made of hydrogen and carbon. When a candle burns, the hydrogen and carbon from the wax combine with the oxygen in the air to become carbon dioxide and water vapor. Most of the matter in the candle ends up as these two gases. If you are looking for candle making supplies, please check out ohcans candle.

Where does a chemical reaction occur on a candle?

When a candle burns the wax is reacting with oxygen in the air to give out heat and light. If you give the candle more oxygen then it will burn brighter ... but it will burn out more quickly. The burning of the candle (a chemical reaction) is affected by the number of oxygen molecules around it.So the speed of the chemical reaction is affected by the concentration of oxygen

Why does magnesium burn more in oxygen that in air?

First off, it doesn't burn more, it burns quicker. This is because It's reacting with the oxygen, and in a 100% oxygen environment there's simply more oxygen to react with (the air is 21% oxygen).

When charcoal burns does it react with the oxygen in the air?

Yes, it does, as does everything that burns, as oxygen is one part of the "Fire Triangle", which is the three things anything needs to burn. The other two components of this triangle are: Fuel and Heat.

When pure carbon burns in air 10.0 kg of carbon react with the oxygen in the air to form 36.7 kg of carbon dioxide Calculate the percentage of oxygen contained in carbon dioxide?

Oxygen: [36.7-10] / 36.7 = 72.8%

What elements are in the candle and in the air when the candle burns?

this stupid website is so awful it will not answer anything I want it to answer. All I wanted to know was what elements are in the air in the candle and in the air when the candle burns? and they did not have it I thought it said that they would give u all the answers u need but I am not going on this website ever ever again
