Just before a cell divides, its centrioles duplicate and one pair migrates to the opposite side. Spindle fibres are formed between them.. They play important role in the location of furrowing during cell division...
Thus, if a cell lacks centrioles, it is unable to reproduce i.e mitosis fails to take place.
No. The microtubules that elongate the cell and pull chromosomes apart originate at the centrioles. Without movement of the chromosomes to the opposite sides of the cell, you cannot have mitosis.
The absence of centrioles would affect cells in a very hug manner. These are structures which are essential for cell division which means that in their absence the cells would not reproduce.
who the hell knows

If the organelle stopped functioning, then the cell would become intoxicated from the molecules that are not wanted. In effect, EVERYTHING would stop working, resulting in death. Also, the cell wouldn't be able to defend itself against harmful substances that might just happen to get in.
Chloroplasts are doing photosynthesis. They will die if chloroplasts are not working.
