If a dog groomer expresses the anal glands once does it continually need to be done?

Not always. I used to have my dogs done when they were wormed or if they started to smell around the bottom area. Some dogs need it doing more often than others. You can do it yourself. You need some tissue and you gently squeeze the area around the anus. Dont get you face to close in case it squirts you!!
