The dog has a fever for a reason, I'm assuming you have taken their temperature, a high fever is very serious, please see the vet NOW
A dog's normal body temperature is much warmer then that of a human. A dog is considered having a fever when his core body temperature is above 103 degree. A dog with a true fever needs medical treatment immediately as this is a serious condition in a dog.
A Veterinarian.
It is called being in heat or in season, is when the dog can become pregnant. No there should not be any signs of a fever. The normal temperature in a dog is 101 to 102 degrees. If your dog is running a fever while in heat, I would take her in to be checked out by a Veterinarian.
See your Vet
A better question would be what is the temperature of a normal dog. That would be about 101 to 102. Above that would mean that the dog has a fever. Also remember, just because a dog is sick does not mean that the dog would always have a fever.
Yes. We cant catch a disease a dog has (unless its worms or parasites), but dogs can catch our diseases.
If your dog has Valley Fever and is pregnant, best would be a trip to the vet. It could spread to the puppies.
No it is not. You need to take your pregnant dog in to be checked out by your Veterinarian to see what is causing the fever. Normal temp in a dog is 101 - 102.
Do not give Ibuprofen to a dog; it is not safe to use in dogs.
They feel their forehead to determine if they have a fever. People with a fever feel hot. So if your forehead feels hot then you have a fever.
If she is seriously ill take her to the vet.
