Don't try to impress the girl who has become your new friend because being yourself and being honest are two good things to remember. Don't come on too strong and give the relationship some time. Ask her out on a date (a movie perhaps) and get to know each other. Ways to impress her is not trying to be something you are not because you will only bomb at it; listen to what she has to say; ask her what bands; movies, etc., she enjoys and then let her know what ones you enjoy.
