A plane CAN'T travel at the speed of light.If a hypothetical super-spacecraft goes very close to the speed of light, and a beam of light is emitted from the spacecraft in the "forward" direction, the speed of the beam of light from the spacecraft would be measured to be the so-called "speed of light", i.e., 300 million meters per second.
Note that the speed of this beam of light, as measured from Earth, would ALSO be 300 million meters per second.
This seems weird, or even impossible, but it has been confirmed by the famous Michelson-Morley experiment, and explained by the Special Theory of Relativity.

∙ 7y agothis is a bit complicated but no, although the plane cannot reach the speed of light, even if it did the relative speed of the light is always the speed of light so it will not be even with the plane

Within a moving reference "plane", you would still see light travel across the interior, travelling at the standard rate of 300,000 km/sec.
