The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the US have released information for pregnant and breastfeeding women, a link is provided below in the related links section.
It is as yet unknown what, if any, effects the Novel H1N1 influenza virus will have on a fetus. The information referenced above gives these guidelines for what to do if you are pregnant and get symptoms of the "2009 Swine Flu":
* If there is H1N1 flu in your community pay extra attention to your body and how you are feeling. * If you get sick with flu-like symptoms, stay home, limit contact with others, and call your doctor. Your doctor will decide if testing or treatment is needed. Tests may include a nasal swab which is best to do within the first 4-5 days of getting sick. Like regular flu, H1N1 flu may make other medical problems worse. * If you are alone at any time, have someone check in with you often if you are feeling ill. This is always a good idea. * If you have close contact with someone who has H1N1 flu or is being treated for exposure to H1N1 flu, contact your doctor to discuss whether you need treatment to reduce your chances of getting the flu. Symptoms of the Novel H1N1 Influenza virus are:
# Coughing # Headaches # Body Aches # Vomiting # Diarrhea # Sneezing # Runny Nose # Fever -over or at 101F about 41C If you think you have the swine flu and have high fever, chest pain, are short of breath, or get sudden dizziness, and, especially if you also live in an area were it has been discovered, you should seek medical attention. Your doctor will determine if you need to be treated with an anti-viral medication. CDC recommends taking Acetaminophen (Tylenol) for fever. For the anti-viral medications that could lessen or stop your symptoms more quickly to be effective, they must be given quickly (within two days of the first symptoms). The effects of antiviral drugs in pregnant women or their babies, are not established yet, but no serious side effects have been reported. If you are given these drugs and believe you are having a side effect, call your doctor immediately.
Yes there is. Here in Sweden we have a woman just under 30 who has been in a artificial lung for months now.
The origination of "catch the rabbit" comes from an old pregnancy test, in which a rabbit was injected with a woman's urine to test for pregnancy. If a woman wanted to become pregnant, she first had to "catch the rabbit."
She is at more risk for complications of the flu with the swine flu during pregnancy because of the stress and strain that her immune system is under from the pregnancy that makes it less efficient at fighting infections.
Nothing, you do not ovulate when you're pregnant because you don't have a cycle.
you can, but it will kill the woman and her baby inside because it's only made to revive a dead person
Whether you are a gay, straight or bisexual male you can get a woman pregnant if you ejaculate inside her or she gets your sperm inside her any other way.
It is definitely possible to get pregnant that way. A woman going to the bathroom has no effect on whether or not she will get pregnant. A woman urinating after intercourse can reduce her rates of getting a urinary tract infection, but it has no effect on pregnancy.
Pregnant women are at higher risk of developing complications from the H1N1/09 flu virus. They already have stress on their immune systems from the pregnancy and adding illness to that can leave them much more vulnerable. Many of the deaths from the pandemic swine flu were among pregnant women. Vaccinations are safe for pregnant women and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommend that all pregnant women get the flu vaccination that includes the "swine flu" vaccine to prevent them from getting the infectious disease. See the related question below for more information about those recommendations.
you will not know you are pregnant until you have missed a period and have taken a pregnancy test that says you are pregnant. not always will a woman get pregnant when a man ejaculates inside of her. it all has to do with the timing of when it happened. a woman has to be ovulating when it happens which means her body is making a new egg.
There were many rules and taboos on everything from how a pregnant woman should behave to how to catch a spring salmon.
No it has to be inside of her or directly at the vaginal opening vaginal.
no, but she has about 30 seconds to enjoy not being pregnant
