anyone can ask for forgiveness, even after rejecting God.

Like this, hasn't every christian gotten angry with God at one point? YES! But God is more eager to get them back then anything. God loves us all, but its us who make the choice to go to heaven with him or to rot in hell by rejecting him, and not asking for forgiveness.

Can one reject or blasphemy against the Holy Ghost then ask for forgiveness and want it back into their lives and be forgiven?

This is what Jesus told us about the unpardonable sin in the Gospel according to Matthew, chapter 12:31-32, " Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come". I would say this is fairly clear. Be careful.

Does god forgive blasphemies to the holy spirit?

God will surely forgive because God has an infinite mercy, but through sincere repentance to sin no more against him, but Luke 12:10 NIV says "And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven."

What scripture mentions a sin that is unforgivable?

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Here are examples.-LUKE 12:10, "And everyone that says a word against the Son of Man, that will be forgiven; But he that blasphemes against The Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.-MARK 3:29, "Whoever blasphemes against The Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness, but is guilty of everlasting sin."-MATTHEW 12: 31-32 "Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. And whoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age, or in the age to come".

Why can you be forgiven for blaspheming Jesus or God but not the holy Spirit?

From what I know you could be forgiven for anything as long as you are sincere about it. . Who would you ask for forgiveness? We receive forgiveness from God... The Bible clearly states that there is no forgiveness against blaspheming against the Holy Spirit but against God and Jesus there is forgiveness yet they are the same person. Why if they are the same person is there the different forgiveness.

If you say Jesus possessed by the holy spirit are you in trouble?

No, saying that Jesus was possessed by the Holy Spirit is a common belief in Christian theology. It reflects the understanding that Jesus, as both divine and human, was empowered by the Holy Spirit in his ministry on earth.

Is denying the existence of God the worst sin in Christiantiy?

the worst sin and also an unforgivable sin is blasphmy against the holyspirit. and sucide if its completed. denying the existence of God can be forgivin if you actually recoginze the exsistence Answer: The Christian punishment for blasphemy was discussed at length during the "Blasphemy Challenge" on YouTube. The general thought was that since it receives unpardonable condemneation it must be he "worst" sin Christians have. The Christian Bible records that their deity Jesus indicates this (Denying the Holy Spirit/God/Him) to be an unforgivable or unpardoneable sin at these indicated locations.: * Mark 3:28-29 ... whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but is guilty of an eternal sin ... * Matthew 12:30-32 ... blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven ... * Luke 12:8-10 ... he who disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God ... anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. * Hebrews 10:26-29 ... Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy ...How much more severely do you think those deserve to be punished who have trampled the Son of God underfoot, who have treated as an unholy thing the blood of thecovenant that sanctified them, and who have insulted the Spirit of grace ?== ==

Are mortal sins forgivable?

Yes, all sins are forgiveable, so long as the person's repentance is genuine and sincere. The only exception is for blaspheming or speaking against the Holy Spirit. Jesus tells us that every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven, but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 12:31-32)

Is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit when you dont know right from good or is it when you think that Jesus used his power from Satan?

The definitive quotation on blasphemy against the Holy ghost is Mark 3:28-29: "Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation". This passage was also incorporated later into the Gospels of Matthew and Luke.Looking at the above quotation, we can see that all sins and blasphemies can be forgiven, other than blasphemies against the Holy Ghost. Luke 12:10 clarifies this: "And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven." So Luke says that blasphemies against Jesus himself can be forgiven, but not blasphemies against the Holy Ghost.
