Go to Indigo Plateu. You will battle Elite Four there and that is the end of the game. Dont worry, you will still be able to continue with game after you beat them. Train your Pokemon before going to Elite Four because they are strong.

So If you beat the game and STILL don't have a Snorlax, make him migrate to Diamond/Pearl/Platinum VIA FireRed/LeafGreen.

In heartgold, if ho-oh faints after you battle it, you still have a chance to catch it. Come back to the Bell Tower after you beat the elite 4. It will be there. If you defeat it then, beat the elite 4 again.

Should you start your Pokemon game over after you beat the elite four?
NO! Just because you have beaten the elite 4 it doesn't really mean you have completed the game. You can still catch other legendarys and raise your pokemon, get another pokedex to complete and even challenge the elite 4 again if you like.
