You should always stear in the direction you want the car to go, which should also be the direction you are looking.
Steer in the direction of the skid. The idea is by reducing the friction the front tires have the sliding rear tires will come back into line.
Look and steer in the direction you want your car to go.
To perform a left tail drift in a front drive car - build up the speed. Decelerate fairly heavily but performing a simultaneous right flick on the steering wheel - a shock wave will shoot through the car (you can feel it happen there is no easy way to explain it.) As this shock wave passes the centre point of the car steer into the direction of the tail drift, if the tail does not swing out then a short flick of the handbrake will start the drift. We then need to catch the drift and control it using gentle throttle control and smooth steering - opposite lock (so steer to the right, just enough to keep the drift going but without overcooking things causing a spin and without undercooking throwing the drift in the opposite direction.)
The steering wheel is used to aim the car in the direction that you want to go. Simply put, it is used to steer the car.
Let go of the accelerator, and turn the wheel of the car to the side of the rear in the direction it is turning.
Ease off the gas pedal, stop braking, and steer in the direction of the skid.
Steer in the direction of the skid and remove your foot from the accelerator. Do not apply the brake.
Steer gently in the direction you want the car to go. As you begin to regain control of the car, gently apply the brakes (assuming you have anti-lock brakes) or the accelerator depending on the type of skid.
The homograph of steer is steer (either meaning to steer a car or the animal steer).
To 'Steer' A car wheel, or to Feed a Baby 'steer.' A steer can also be a baby cow.

Most RC cars have a steering adjustment dial on the bottom of the car. It will be located between the tires that steer the car. Move the dial the direction that you want the tires to face. Keep adjusting this until the car drives straight.
