im no expert, but i believe as the progressives and marxists came to America they changed the US's policies on non-interventionism that such founding fathers like Thomas Jefferson believed in. as these progressives infiltrated the US's government, they wanted the "New World Order", which involves stretching the foreign policies much more than needed.
