∙ 14y agoIf both the Senate and the House of Representatives approve a bill (hopeful law), then the President may sign (approve) or veto (reject) the law. If he approves, the bill automatically becomes law. If not, it can go back to Congress where another vote with a 2/3 majority approval would override the President's veto.
