The idea is not that energy 'has' mass. The idea is that mass and energy can be directly related to one another in an equation. Also, mass does not always have weight; you can weigh a mass only when the mass is in a gravitational field. Having lots of 'energy' has no affect on your weight.

The above stated answer is partly wrong because Einsteins E=MC2 equation qualitatively states that energy in reality does have mass. It is only that the speed of light is so great in term's of numerical value that any change in energy would not effectively affect your total mass. However weight is simply a force so you can not say that if my mass increases on earth i would have the same weight as on the moon for the same weight.

What is the mass of 64.44 grams?

The mass is 64.44 grams. But the difference between mass and weight is that mass is weight is how heavy it is on the planet you weigh it on and mass it the weight it is on Earth, whether is is on Earth, or not.

How do weight and mass relate to each other?

Mass directly affects weight. If an object has more mass, it will weigh more.

Do all rocks weigh the same if they have a different mass but the same weight?

Do all rocks weigh the same if they have a different mass but the same weight? Let's look at the question without one bit of it..... "Do all rocks weigh the same if they have ......... .... ... the same weight?" If things are the same weight, then they weigh the same.

What does a ball weigh?

The weight of a ball depends on its mass.

How much do you weigh in kilograms if you weigh 117lbs?

A kilogram is a measure of mass, not of weight. A person whose mass is 117 pounds will weigh 520 Newtons.

What energy depends on mass or weight?

kinetic energy

Is weight affected by mass?

Yes, the larger the mass the more the object is going to weigh.

How do you get the mass of the object?

An easy way to do that is to weigh the object. In principle, the mass can be derived from the weight.

If I weigh 45 kilograms on earth how much would I weigh on the sun?

You cannot weigh 45 kilograms because a kilogram is a measure of mass, not of weight. If your mass is 45 kilograms, your weight on the surface of the sun would be 12330 newtons.

How do you gain mass weight training?

Heavy Weight, Lots of Sets, and Low Reps.

How can weight impact energy?

It depends on the type of energy, of course.Gravitational potential energy is equal to weight multiplied by height - so you can see that it is directly proportional to weight. Some other types of energy, such as kinetic energy, heat energy, etc., depend on the mass of an object - not on its weight. But since weight is also directly proportional to the mass, you might say that if the weight increases, certain types of energy will also increase - even though the energy is not exactly the result of the weight in this case (both the weight and the energy depend on the mass).

How much does a glass of milk weigh?

No exact value but you can know the mass of liquid from this relation Denisty=Mass/volume so the mass=Volume*Density ,,, this is the weight of milk you can add the weight of the glass but you must first weigh it on a balance.
