If force is increased and pressure remained the same, then the area must have been decreased.
The carts will be accelerated, by the force, a=F/m.
Simply pressure is the force per unit area. So Pressure is directly proportional to the force applied. Hence by increasing the force we can increase the pressure.
its acceleration will be increased
It will absolutely raise your blood pressure because sodium constricts veins & vessels your heart needs to use more pressure to force blood flow.
I assume you mean 2 m^2. P = F / A = 5.0 / 2.0 = 2.5 Pa. Doublng the force means the double the pressure.
Pressure is defined as force divided by area. If you divide by a smaller number, you get a larger result. Try it out with some numbers.
Pressure= force per unit area. P for 5 N on 2 m area = 5/2. P for 10 N on same area= 10/2 which is twice the pressure from above.
Options: -- Force more gas into the same container. -- Force the same amount of gas into a smaller container. -- Heat the gas.
I have no way to know, because I was not in the room while you were doing the experiment.
pressure is not a force but pressure is a force applied in per unit of area
pressure is force divided by area
When area of contact increases between two objects, then the pressure applied decreases. Here is the formula: Pressure(Pascals)=Force(newtons)/area(metre2)
