Who cares where heaven abides? The point is to make it there. "The Kingdom of Heaven is within you."-if I may quote the Rabbi Messiah.
I imagine though you are asking if the mormon church really is what it (presumably) say it is; and that it holds heaven within its doors (so to speak) should we commit suicide.
This question seems a bit rhetorical; but I will still 'give it a go'. Suicide is sin-Out of the question. We would do well to pray and ask IF heaven is sitting in the mormon church or not and wait for the reply- before we jump the gun. If the reply is yes...take your lumps. If it is No, we have no worries (in that regard anyway). If we have no answer, continue to pray through: this is a major event that we don't want to miss for anything!
If we are atheistic, none of it matters anyway.
No, suicide is completely forbidden to Muslims and they shall not get to heaven no matter why they commit suicide. This is found in many places in both Qu'ran and Hadith.
By refusing a funeral to a victim of suicide the Church was, essentially, judging that person. Only God can make the decision of who goes to heaven and who goes to hell. Many of those who commit suicide are suffering from mental illness and not fully responsible for their actions.
The reason does not matter, you will go to hell if you commit suicide. That is if you believe in hell or heaven, that's just the Church's rules.
They go to hell. Unless they believe in god. Then they probably go to heaven.
Some say so. I think the threat is to dissuade people from suicide, particularly when it's the result of depression, which is treatable. Many people who do commit suicide are mentally ill and not considered responsible for their actions.
If you commit suicide it can't be a crime. If you attempt it in the United States it is still not a crime. India and Singapore are the only countries that I know punish for attempted suicide by 1 to 5 years in prison. It could technically be counted as a crime; however, there is no punishment conceivable for someone who has committed suicide, as they are already dead and therefore cannot feel or care about anything (unless they are watching somehow from heaven).
Many say emos believ in a place called 'The Black parade' when they die. They could go to heaven or hell, depending on the person and it's religeon. It's a matter of opinion of athiesm or not. If they commited suicide then they would probably not be buried in a church graveyard, but burnt with ashes, most likely.
No they will not be allowed into heaven , if they commit suicide,Answer:As there is no agreed on concept of suicide - is a person that dies to protect others a suicide, is refusal to prolong life suicide, is driving in an unsafe manner suicide - it is difficult to determine what or who would be included in this category. While the Christian Bible is very silent on forbidding suicide several passages present it as a good and noble thing:Judges 16:29-30 Samson kills himself by pulling down the temple killing himself and thousands o Philistines2 Samuel 1:2-17 Saul kills himself after he is wounded to avoid being captured
No, it is believed that in heaven, there is no sin or wrongdoing.
In taking your own life you are turning your back the one of the best things God has given us, the very gift of life itself. In the bible it says thou shalt not murder (the ten commandments). so therefore it is a sin to commit murder or suicide. However it is worse to commit suicide, because there is no time to be forgiven. By commiting suicide you have commited murder with no spare time for forgiveess. If you commit murder you have time for remorse or forgiveness.
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that those who do not accept salvation through Jesus Christ will not spend eternity in heaven with God.
A baptized baby has never had the opportunity to commit sin so, of course, the baby will go immediately to Heaven. The Church even feels today that an unbaptized baby probably goes to heaven and, if not, goes to a place called Limbo which assures everlasting happiness but with the absence of God.
