Wear a bright orange shirt. And that's all. Wear camouflage pants & shirt, with an orange vest & a camo hat. What I prefer to wear is a blaze hat, camo shirt and pants, boots, and a tactical vest. I like the vest because it holds things more securely than a backpack. When it's cold out coveralls are good.

As a duck hunter for several years I would say no. Ducks are very keen on picking up movements especially movements by brightly colored objects. I can't speak scientifically, but they see something. When I am in full camo coyote hunting they let me get within twenty yards almost always before they run or fly. When I am dressed in orange or solid colors they start running forty yards away. Like I stated before they see something or know the difference between a hunter with a rifle or shotgun. This is not occassional, this is everytime. I have nothing to back it up , but experience.
