In "Airplane" mode or when switched off there are no radio frequency emissions from a cell phone.

No. The lights are switched independently of the transmission.
A mobile phone can be used after being switched off using the IMEI number or in a variety of other ways. If the phone is internet or wifi enabled, the phone can be used in conjunction with different video phone apps.
If the light is on ( not flashing ) that means that the overdrive has been switched off ( the 4th gear of your automatic transmission )
yes I think above incorrect answer. My understanding is that if phone is switched off, then phone cannot register missed call so user cannot see. Hence why user should have voicemail activated & set-up to kick in if phone is off or out of reception so user knows someone tried to call as they will hopefully leave voicemail. This is what happens on my mobile phone.
Someone switched off the light.
Switched-off mobile phones are generally not considered dangerous, as they do not emit radiation or pose any immediate health risks when powered down. However, they can pose risks in emergency situations, as they cannot be used to call for help. Additionally, if left unattended, switched-off devices may become lost or damaged. Overall, while they are safe when turned off, their utility is significantly reduced in that state.
Mobile phones give off electrical sparks when they ring which can ignite the vapors from gasoline being pumped. You should also touch a metal part of your car when you get out to discharge the static electricity so you don't spark.
