The first thing you should do is explain this to your probation officer.
If your visa expires, I assume that means you'll be leaving the country, thus the court would most likely just suspend the sentence. If you manage to renew the visa, or find a way to stay, then your probation will probably continue for the full 4 years.
If you drink and drive and pick up a DWI or worse DUI, then you are in violation of your probation. However, if it was not specified otherwise in your original court papers, then drinking should not be a violation of your felony probation.
Actually, it depends on the circumstances. If you are on probation for some sort of felony, you can no longer own a gun unless you have your rights restored. If you are on probation for something other than a felony, it depends on what the crime was and the terms of your probation are.
Check your paperwork, your travel restrictions should all be contained there. If you are on FELONY probation the likliehood is very high that you have some kind of travel restriction imposed on you. Ask your parole officer.
Probation if the judge isn't an ***hole
This depends on so many different factors and circumstances surrounding the dwi. It is certainly possible under a plea agreement if you have the right attorney, a lenient prosecutor and lenient judge. It is also unlikely that you will only get probation if your dwi felony is due to multiple dwi offences in the past. Honestly though, jail time for a dwi felony should be the least of ones worries. A felony will make it extremely difficult to secure employment.
Valium has a shelf life of about six months before it expires. You should never take an expired medication or one that is not prescribed specifically for your current illness.
Yep. You will need one.
You should check with your state Pharmacy Board for the EXACT answer but if it isn't a felony, yes, you probably can.
You should still be able to take it, as long as it is YOUR prescription and not someone elses. Just to be sure, check with your probation officer. Legally you should still be able to take it, even it was 10 months ago, but again just to be sure, PLEASE check with your probation officer, but I don't think there will be a problem.
Your probation will be immediately revoked and you will be ordered to jail. Then you will be charged with the new crime and have to face court action for the gun offense too. THEN: it can depend on what your personal scenario is. Are you a CONVICTED felon or simply just charged with a felony? If you are already convicted of a felony you are looking at SERIOUS prison time (federal time can run to 15 years). Feds will pick up the case. mandatory minimum is usually 60 months but Ive seen people get 30 months, 36 months. Minimum states 5 years though
A) You go to prison, where you belong. and B) You are a terrible person and should kill yourself.
The judge can issue a bench warrent for your arrest, you may not get out of the country. If you do and return their could be an arrest warrent waiting for you. It wouldn't matter if you were in another state.
