A reservoir tank with a one way vac. valve inline and connected to the heat control valve.
the line is connected to the carburettor if you have one or to the intake manifold after the throttle valve. The purpose is to connect intake vacuum to the booster.
The vacuum hose should connect to the back of the intake manifold.

The intake manifold.
It is located on the rightside of the intake manifold, infront the intake air tubing, sensor is in a vertical position, straight down in to the manifold.
It is the area of the engine where the fuel and air go into the engine. It usually hasthe fuel injectors connected to it. It is bolted to the engine. An intake manifold is used on most vehicles. The intake manifold delivers theair & fuelmixture to the combustion chambers of your engine for ignition.
It is called the intake manifold.
Generally its the cylinder head or intake manifold...depending on the engine.
if it is a dohc engine then you may have to remove the intake manifold
There are no "pipes" but vacum lines. However there are a few so more details of the one you are talking about is needed.could be thewater heater inlet pipe on the intake manifold
It is on the intake manifold when your sittin in the car it is on the left side of your intake manifold. I think it is a 19 mm socket or wrench with a hose connected to it with vacuum in the hose.
