Thats completely up to you. People can have piercing for years and they can close up within an hour. It all depends on your body. If you're willing to take the risk, go for it. If not, look into more comfortable jewelry to sleep in. I would try bioplast lip studs or even barbells.
If you turn your earrings around in a full circle and it doesn't sting or burn or have any crust around the ears they should be healed.
it depends how long u had them pierced. it maybe to earlier to change earrings so they havent healed properly meaning the back of the piercing is very tight because it hasn't gotten used to the earrings it depends how long u had them pierced. it maybe to earlier to change earrings so they havent healed properly meaning the back of the piercing is very tight because it hasn't gotten used to the earrings
You need to wait about 4 weeks, that way, your ears will be completely healed.
If they are newly pierced, then they weren't healed all the way OR your skin healed to the bar of the earring. This can happen if you don't turn your earrings everyday. Just put the jewelry back in and be sure to clean and spin them twice a day for a week or two then try again.
There is nothing you can do about it, It wasn't very smart though, just tell them it is new, and as soon as it is healed, you won't wear it to school!
You can get it without a captive bead, but it is not recomended. The captive bead protects your piercing unti it is healed by preventing the seam of the ring from possibly scarring. It can be worn inside the lip out of sight and changed out once the peircing is healed.
Yes, but only after they have healed.
There are some people with pierced ears who simply cannot wear anything other than gold earrings. If you have had an infected ear for eight (!!) months, you should consult a licensed health practitioner before you do do anything else. And don't wear an earring in the infected ear!
For the first little while you have lobe piercing(s), it kinda itches and can be sore, but after they are completely healed, you don't notice you have earrings in at all. As with everything, there are exceptions. If you put in heavy earrings, you will notice it or if you have an allergy to a metal in the earring(s) the area will become irritated and sore. If you go in for a first time lobe piercing, I recommend getting surgical steel or gold to prevents allergic reactions to the metal.
Until it is healed, or at least 6 weeks
yeeessss. but it doesnt hurt once they are like fully healed!
Yes it does heal because i am 11 and i have it pierced and i got it in April and in June it was healed and i change it like every day now! =)
