Methyl Orange is red in an acidic solution.
I really do not know
Washing soda is originally white in colour and no colour change takes place on heating it. A colourless gas, water vapour i.e the water of crystallization is evolved which is neutral to litmus and even turns cobalt chloride blue to pink. The left residue is sodium carbonate (white).
Bromothymol Blue is commonly used as an indicator to detect the presence of carbon dioxide in a solution. In the context of photosynthesis, Bromothymol Blue can be used to observe the rate of photosynthesis. When photosynthesis occurs, carbon dioxide is consumed and oxygen is released. By adding Bromothymol Blue to a solution containing a photosynthetic organism, the color change of the indicator can indicate the rate of photosynthesis.
The colour is not changed.
Soda water
baking soda indication
green
blue
pH 5.6
I really do not know
Baking soda pH about 8.0 so methyl orange is yellow (above 4.4)
Phenol red is a pH indicator. The baking soda is not changing color, but the phenol red is.
The indicator of acid is baking soda.
Phenolphthalein is the indicator that turns pink in alkaline solutions it WILL NOT show any colour in an acid environment!!
Yes it is. Because ive tried it on baking soda (A BASE) and it showed blue colour. So basically it shows the colour table according to the red cabbage juice

the benedict itself is not oxidized, it just turn other element's colour due to change during chemical reaction.....
