My friend left without saying goodbye and the worst part was that we loved each other...and I still love him. I guess the reason he didn't say good bye was because it hurt too much, i still wish he did. They don't realize but not saying goodbye makes you feel worthless....and the fact is that they are just trying to protect you because they care so much. And goodbyes are hard and they involve feelings, some people are afraid of feelings and they don't care about feelings, and feelings can cause pain. In my case that was the problem....he was afraid to say goodbye, and afraid to feel. I understand now.
