If your Insurance co. gets involved it will cost you your deductable.

If you want to do it on your own, you need to consider two factors:

1). How well do you know the Insurance dealings and practices? and

2). How good of negotiator are you?

Keep in mind, the INSURANCE CO. ARE NOT IN BUSINESS TO GIVE MONEY AWAY!!!

I would give it very careful thought before proceeding on my own.

If you have any doubts, let your insurance co. handle it.

My advice is based on nothing else but experience.

If you are involved in an accident and have auto liability insurance and the other driver does not what are your rights?

Liability insurance for drivers is a requirement in the state of Mississippi. The other party involved in this accident does not have insurance. I do have liability insurance. If you are driving someone else's car does your liability insurance pay repairs to the vehicle you are driving?

No, liability insurance is when there are injuries involved. If you are injured in an accident when someone else is driving your car, your liability insurance would cover your medical costs. Comprehensive and collision insurance on the car you were driving should pay for damages to the vehicle.

Auto insurance liability?

Most of the auto insurance packages come with liability insurance included, since it is usually required by the law. The main purpose of the liability insurance is to provide compensation in case of an accident. In order to make things clearer for you, when you, for example, are involved in a car crash and you have liability insurance in place, the insurance company will pay compensation to the other side. Which of these sentences describes liability automobile insurance coverage?

Auto liability insurance is a type of car insurance that covers the policyholder in the event that they cause an accident and are found to be at fault. It provides financial protection for the policyholder in the event that they are sued by the other driver(s) involved in the accident. Liability coverage typically includes two types of coverage: bodily injury liability and property damage liability. Bodily injury liability covers the medical expenses of the other driver(s) and any passengers in their vehicle. In contrast, property damage liability covers the cost of repairing or replacing any property that was damaged in the accident, such as another vehicle or a fence.

What happens after your car is totaled and you only have liability?

If a car is totaled in an accident and only liability insurance is present, there is a chance that the other party's insurance will pay for the vehicle if the accident was their fault. If a car is totaled, but no others were involved, then the responsibility falls on the registered owner. This will not release the registered owner from paying for the vehicle, either, if money is still owed on the car.

How do i find a person's insurance company?

If you were involved in an accident with this person then their insurance information will be listed on the accident report. If you were not involved in an accident then it is not your business who they have insurance with. Much of this is covered by the privacy laws so if you really have to know ask the person.
