Chemical energy is energy produced by chemical reactions. Burning gasoline is one example. The reactions of materials in a battery that produce electricy are another. There are many such examples.
Mechanical energy is energy of a mechanical system, such as a motor or engine. Examples are the automobile, the electric motor. and so on.
Converting chemical energy to mechanical energy is what makes a car go.
Mechanical energy
First when a person began to digest the food it becomes a chemical energy. The chemical energy is converted into a kinetic energy. As the body gets energy the kinetic is converted into a mechanical energy.
At the beginning, the person has kinetic energy (chemical allows them to live, mechanical to move), and the toy has gravitational potential energy (assuming it is on an above-ground surface). As the person turns the handle, they apply mechanical energy onto the toy, which then gets mechanical energy too. As it moves across the surface, the toy experiences-although relatively little-thermal energy (friction force working against it). Finally, the handle unwinds through elastic potential energy.
A person climbing a ladder is using mechanical energy, if you are talking about types of energy.
mechanical
A person converts chemical potential energy into kinetic/mechanical energy when he walks. The chemical potential energy usually takes the form of adenine triphosphate (ATP) stored in the body.
A form of chemical energy such as in the combustion process to start the mechanical process (energy) of a car engine. A battery uses chemical energy to power things like clocks or the A/C in your car. A person moving an object is displaying mechanical energy by moving the object, yet they themselves are powered by the chemical energy in the nutrients they take in when they eat.

A bicycle has mass, substance. So it will have the energy that's locked in the material it's made of.
