Yes. You can, for example, boil water at room temperature if you apply a vacuum pump to the container. However, if it was ONLY a sealed container (reduce the pressure and then take the vacuum pump away), the vapor increases the pressure and the whole thing comes to equilibrium and stops boiling.
Vapor Pressure.
Do not enclose liquid nitrogen in a sealed container, as this may result in bursting or an explosion due to pressure buildup caused by the evaporation.
Well pressure within a sealed container is defined by the pressure surrounding the container. If the pressure outside is equal to the pressure within the sealed container, there is no positive or negative pressure gradient. If the pressure outside is less than the pressure within the sealed container, there is positive pressure increase within the container. Because air in the higher atmosphere is of lesser pressure than at ground level, bringing a seal container filled at ground level to the higher atmosphere will cause the sealed container to increase in internal pressure. However, you asked what will happened within a pressurized airplane, pressurization within the airplane is meant to prevent the pressure within the cabin from dropping to that of the surrounding environmental pressure. Therefore a sealed container within a pressurized airplane should not change significantly, assuming the container was filled at ground pressure, the pressure which cabins are pressurized to.
A sealed container of air would be crushed after being frozen because as the pressure decreases, the temperature also decreases. The air molecules inside of the sealed container shrink when it is frozen. The colder the air, the lower the temperature.
because the other half is not empty it is filled with gas
hardly at all hardly at all, however in a sealed container, the pressure will rise as temp goes up, and near boiling it will go sky high
Vapor Pressure.
Increasing the number of moles of gas, decreasing the volume of the container, or iIncreasing the temperature could cause a rigid container of gas to explode.
The higher the pressure being exerted on the water, the lower the boiling point becomes. Yes the boiling point is affected in a pressurized system. If you put water in a sealed container and kept raising the pressure it will eventually reach it's boiling point without the need of adding heat.

Compressing it, heating it (in a sealed container) or adding more gas to a quantity already in a sealed container (which is like compressing it).
increase in volume

Most all items swell somewhat with heat applied. Water does so dramatically. So when a full and sealed container cools, the water retracts in size accordingly. This changes the pressure within the container, so the pressure on the outside is greater and causes it to collapse
If the vacuum pump is on, the water will continue to boil. If the vacuum pump is off as the vessel is sealed, the boiling will stop at a point of equilibrium.

As you drive, the friction of the road and the flexing of the tire increases the tires temperature.
