Atoms are not invisible, they're just too small to see individually. (Actually they are invisible. They are in a light wave that we cannot see without special equipment no matter how far we "zoom in.")

∙ 12y agowe can tell atoms are there but we can't see them with the naked eye we need some sort of microscope and under the microscope we see them and that's how we tell they are there

same number of atoms theoretically... yet cold objects collect water vapor cold objects shrink and hot objects expand with the exception of water.

Why can't I walk through solid objects?
There simply isn't enough space for your atoms to pass through the atoms of a solid object. You can swim in water and walk through a gas because the particles are so spread apart, but you cant walk through solid objects because the particle configuration is extremely dense.
