You need to change your line of work then. If your doctor is telling you that your body can no longer handle what you do for a living it is in your best interest to get out of that line of work. Reguardless of the pay difference life will go on whereas if you keep working where you are it may not turn out so well and you'll end up on permanent disability and that defiantely pays even worse.
