Ask your local school district that question.
No, you typically do not have to make payments on federal student loans while you're in school, as long as you're enrolled at least half-time. Most federal student loans offer a deferment period during your studies, meaning payments are postponed until after graduation or when you drop below half-time enrollment. However, interest may continue to accrue on some loans, like unsubsidized loans, during this time.
Not likely because you have to be willing, able, available, and seeking full time employment, which being a full time student would be difficult. Actually YES, you can and as long as you have been laid off (had to have previous work) and are registered full time, 12 or more credits you can claim unemployment and NOT have to seek a job. You will have to have school officials sign off documention every so many weeks proving youre enrolled and actively attending.
Now why would you expect a refund from the government considering you didn't pay anything in??? Remember you can't get something from nothing..
