If you're re-gauging your ears how long should you wait to go up a size?

It depends on how long it's been since you've had gauges in, and what size they were before. I did this recently, and I just sized up as quickly as I felt comfortable (it only took about a week for me to move back up to a size 4).
At my shop we tell folks to wait two weeks at least and not to taper more than two sizes. Hope this helps.
