Dude go to your doctor.
It is stored in the epididymis, which is a sack-like organ attached to your testicles. You can actually feel it yourself, if you want. There is one attached to each testicle and are usually around the same size as the testicle itself.
It is much the other way around. 'Testicle' or 'teste' is the correct term for it; 'ball(s)' is slang.
"The average testicle size after puberty measures up to around 2 inches long, 0.8 inches in breadth, and 1.2 inches in height." - Wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Testicle
An orchioplexy is done to correct undescended testicles in young children. It may also be done in adults or older children for testicular torsion which is considered to be a medical emergency because it cuts off the blood supply to the affected testicle.
The testicles of a 2 year old should not be painful. A boy's testicles are not supposed to start growing until they begin puberty around the age of 10. If they are, you should make an appointment with the child's pediatrician to see what may be going on. There are a few infections that cause an increase in testicle size which causes pain, and they need to be ruled out, or treated.
Each testicle is connected to a muscle called the cremaster, and that can cause it to shift its position in the scrotum. They move up and down because sperm can only grow at a very precise temperature, which is slightly below body temp. They move up when cold to keep close to that temp but, if you are warm they descend to get away from your body heat to keep the temp lower.
The testicles are built as a temperature control for the sperm. The temperature sperm is mos t comfortable is slightly lower then normal body temperature. So when it is hot the testicles hang low and loose allowing more air around them to cool them. If it is cold the pull in tight to the body in order to keep them warmer. They also pull in closer during sex to keep them out of the way and because of the muscular tension in the area.
If you look at the genital area, females will have a Y shaped slit and no testicle bulges. Males will have bulges around the genital region (the testicles) and the opening will not be Y shaped. There may be a small protrusion (the penis)
One bull testicle (depending on the size and the breed of bull you are referring to) can weigh around 1 to 2 lbs.
testicles drop much earlier in a boys life, at around 2-6 months.
Average adult testis size is as follows: Length: 2 inches Width: 0.8 inches Height: 1.2 inches (5x2x3 cm). The volume range is from 12 to 30 cm3 per testis. The average is 18 cm3. A man has two testes in the scrotum.
It all depends how hard and what age. If your between 8-16 your testicles will very sensitive and nonprotevtive and it can be a real pain. There's 2 kinds of serious testicle injuries. Examples of serious testicular injury are TESTICULAR TORSOIN and TESTICULAR RUPTURE. In the case of testicular torsion, the testicle twists around, cutting off its blood supply. This can happen due to a serious trauma to the testicles, strenuous activity, or even for no apparent reason. Testicular torsion isn't common, but when it does happen, it most often occurs in guys ages 12 to 18. If it occurs, it is crucial to see a doctor as soon as possible - within 6 hours of the time the pain starts. Unfortunately, after 6 hours, there is a much greater possibility that complications could result, including reduced sperm production or the loss of the testicle. The problem may be fixed by a doctor manually untwisting the testicle. If that doesn't work, surgery will be necessary. Testicular rupture can also happen, but it is a rare type of testicular trauma. This can happen when the testicle receives a forceful direct blow or when the testicle is crushed against the pubic bone (the bone that forms the front of the pelvis), causing blood to leak into the scrotum. Testicular rupture, like testicular torsion and other serious injuries to the testicles, causes extreme pain, swelling in the scrotum, nausea, and vomiting. To fix the problem, surgery is necessary to repair the ruptured testicle.
