If you are a graduating high school student not going to college should you take the SATs?

I wouldn't bother. If you have no plans at all of applying to college, there is no real to take a college entrance exam like the SAT.
If you decide to go to college later on in life, you can take the SAT at that point, and you will probably perform better at age 20 than at 17. Also, if you do decide to go to college later in life, it will probably be a community college, which don't require the SAT/ACT for admission.
