Absolutely, what better way to get your focus back on him. Anything, anything to be the center of attention.

I am afraid so. My ex N used to call me crying piteously from sinus headaches, or needing me for emotional support because he had some issue in his life where he had done something to make things go awry.....or he needed information right away and only I could give him that information.....honestly, he used to call me when he lost things! To make a long story short, he has even been shot for interceding in business that is not his, and constantly complains about his aches and pains due to that drama. Today he just called me saying he needed to talk with me urgently, and then hung up. I did not call him back and he hasn't called back...so much for urgency. Please stay away from these people. Many of us here have escaped only to be lured back in by the thought that our caring and love will cure...IT DOES NOT. This type of personality disorder is actually programmed from infancy as normal behavior. They began life in an environment that was abusive, and they actually think they themselves are normal and everyone else is not. Please read on about this disorder, get educated and get out. Peace to you...mbme
