There is no way to get illegally married and then acquire any of the legal rights of marriage.
In the US and the UK a minor child's next of kin is her parents. It doesn't matter whether they are married and the law favors neither one. See the related question for a more detailed source for inheritance from intestate estates.
If the parents were married at the time of birth - possibly.
If the mother and child (the stepchild) are domiciled outside the UK then no.
Yes. Several ways. * You're a citizenship of the UK and become a naturalized citizen in the US, or vice versa. * Your father (or mother) was born in the UK and you were born in US. Parents are not diplomats. * Both of your parents were born in the US, you are born in the UK. * One of your parents were born in the US, lived there for at least 5 years after age 14, married, then had a child in the UK.
No distinction is made between male and female rights in the UK.
In the UK, if you are married when your children are born, you both automatically have parental rights. If you are not married, then you have to apply for parental responsibility rights, if the mother does not want to share that with you. This can be done by court order. After 2003, if not married but father is written on the birth certificate, that is enough to have parental responsibility and all that that entails. Not sure how it is for you guys in the USA!
Yes at least in the UK they can without permission. It will depend what Country you are in I suppose.
In the UK, there are many organizations and such for animal rights. However, there aren't as many as in the UK as in the USA.
