If you are installing an expansion card into a case that a case that does not have enough clearance above the motherboard for the card what device can you use to solve the problem?

∙ 12y agodepending on what it is and what your talking about, sometimes simple modifications to a case can solve issues, but like i said i don't have a clue on what your trying to ad into it, it almost sounds like the cover of your case is getting in the way.. but not to sure.. if that's it u can almost solve it the easiest way of leaving the door off.. otherwise modifying the case sometimes works.. or get rid of the expansion card.... hope this helps a little bit.

assuming the older mother board has similar sockets and slots for your current devices parts (and your motherboard supports those devices) you should have no problem downgrading

You either have a power supply problem, or if the ports are coming straight off of the motherboard, which they normally are then you obviously have a motherboard problem. Part of it could have shorted out and the only thing you can really do is replace it.
